The 2027 Infiniti QX65 Channels the Coupe-Like FX SUV from the 2000s
Along with an arching roofline, the QX65 drops the third row, but replaces it with a massive cargo hold.

The 2027 QX65 joins Infiniti’s lineup as a new model that slots alongside the closely related QX60 mid-size SUV.
Because the new model opts for a sloped roofline, it ditches the QX60’s already cramped third row in favor of a cavernous cargo space.
The new two-row QX65 will go on sale in the United States early this summer, and the entry-level Luxe trim will start at $55,535.
A fresh haircut and a wardrobe change can go a long way in terms of looks, but at the end of the day, you’re stuck in the same bag of bones. Take the Infiniti QX65, for example. The mid-size SUV is new to the brand’s lineup for 2027, and it sports a commanding front-end design, an arching roofline, and a genuinely nice cabin. Peel back the sheetmetal, though, and you’ll discover that the QX65 is the same as Infiniti’s QX60 SUV, sans a third row.\n\nView Exterior Photos\nINFINITI\nThe QX65 will be available in Luxe, Sport, and Autograph trims, all of which pack the same 268-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder VC-Turbo (variable compression) engine. While the power is unchanged, Infiniti retuned the powertrain specifically for the QX65. The engineers fiddled with the sound and calibrated the nine-speed automatic transmission to downshift more aggressively under braking. All-wheel drive comes standard across the range, as do premium visual features like the illuminated grille emblem.\n\nFor Sale Near You\nSee all results for new 2027 Infiniti QX65 for sale near 634720\n\nFrom a design perspective, the QX65 closely follows in the footsteps of the QX60 and the QX80, which served as springboards for Infiniti’s new design language when they arrived in 2025. The similarities are unsurprising, given how closely the QX65 is related to the QX60. Infiniti says the design is inspired by the coupe-like FX SUV from the 2000s, which is evident in the QX65’s side profile. The design works particularly well with the two-tone look of the Autograph trim, which is shown here in the new Sunfire Red paint that Infiniti said is based on the Nissan GT-R’s old Regal Red.\n\nView Interior Photos\nINFINITI\nAs with the rest of the car, the QX65’s interior design is liable for copying the QX60’s homework. The cabin is comfortable and attractive, with a generous amount of leather draped on the seats and dashboard. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster hides under the cowl of the dashboard, while a second 12.3-inch display serves as a central touchscreen. Wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, and a head-up display is available on the higher trims as part of a Premium package.\n\nThe QX65 comes standard with heated front seats, while the Autograph trim brings massaging front seats and heated rear seats. The Sport and Autograph trims also feature ventilated front seats and a Klipsch 16-speaker audio system.\n\nDespite the roofline’s steep rake, the QX65 is immensely practical—so long as you’re transporting a lot of goods rather than people. Since there’s no third row cramping the cargo space, the QX65 is good for 36 cubic feet of storage behind the second row, and 68 cubes with the rear seats folded flat. Even with all the seats upright, Infiniti told us that there’s enough room for four sets of golf bags in the trunk.\n\nThe 2027 Infiniti QX65 will start reaching dealerships early this summer.
